April was a busy month for RHQ - five shows in five cities and three new clients for whom we provided custom event registration and group housing services.

We began this hectic schedule at the beautiful Aria Resort & Casino, part of the Las Vegas Strip's new City Center development (and if you have yet to check it out, do so, it's a wonderful facility). Kathy and Mark were present managing onsite convention registration services at The Aesthetics Show.

RHQ has provided event registration services to four conventions held in Las Vegas so far in 2012. The good news for all event planners is that our experience matches the data recently provided by the LVCVA, which shows a healthy recovery in the meeting environment of the world's premiere convention city!

Registration Headquarters (RHQ) has been selected to provide registration services for the twenty-first annual FIRST Robotics Championships being held in St. Louis, Missouri.

THE Aesthetic Show has retained Registration Headquarters (RHQ) to provide turnkey on-site event registration services for their 2012 show.

THE Aesthetic Show brings the latest aesthetic procedures, products and technologies together in an intensive and interactive educational format to provide an affordable educational experience designed for all physicians and staff of a medical practice. THE Aesthetic Show also provides an enriching educational program focusing on aesthetic medicine that welcomes physicians as well as all sub specialties.

RHQ's Mark Naylor and Greg Haake have just returned from the 2nd Annual AEG Expo, held in the JW Marriott LA LIVE and the Los Angeles Convention Center. RHQ provided custom pre-registration and integrated group housing services and full-service on-site event registration services to AEG.

AEG is the world's largest owner of sports teams and sports events, the owner of the world’s most profitable sports and entertainment venues, and under AEG Live the world's second largest presenter of live music and entertainment events.

If you've ever worked self-badging stations at an event you'll know that a number of pre-registrants will always try to use the "express lanes" to print their badge when they've neglected to bring either their barcode or registration number. And even when they realize they've left them in their hotel room, they try anyway!

When you are busy, as we presently are with multiple shows in four different cities during November, and two new January 2012 events recently going live, it's nice to hear you're doing a good job! We received this email about a new show Registration Headquarters (RHQ) provided event registration services for this month at Caesars Palace:

AEG have selected Registration Headquarters (RHQ) to provide event pre-registration, event housing and onsite registration services for the AEG Expo, taking place in Los Angeles in February 2012.

Registration Headquarters was invited to speak at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas earlier this week. UNLV has one of the nation's only Tourism & Convention Administration degree programs.

The Vendome Group's National Conference on Addiction Disorders (NCAD) was an overwhelming success last week in San Diego!

Held in the Town & Country Hotel, pre-registration was up over 20%. Vendome utilized RHQs self-badging stations for the first time and were impressed with the speed with which the system processed badges, resulting in very short wait times for all participants.
