If you’ve ever worked self-badging stations at an event you’ll know that a number of pre-registrants will always try to use the “express lanes” to print their badge when they’ve neglected to bring either their barcode or registration number. And even when they realize they’ve left them in their hotel room, they try anyway!

When you are busy, as we presently are with multiple shows in four different cities during November, and two new January 2012 events recently going live, it’s nice to hear you’re doing a good job! We received this email about a new show Registration Headquarters (RHQ) provided event registration services for this month at Caesars Palace:
“Enjoyed working with you all and thank you so much. One comment was, “…this is the best registration we’ve ever had at a DEC conference”, by someone how’s been to perhaps ten of them. Great job!”

The Vendome Group’s National Conference on Addiction Disorders (NCAD) was an overwhelming success last week in San Diego!
Held in the Town & Country Hotel, pre-registration was up over 20%. Vendome utilized RHQs self-badging stations for the first time and were impressed with the speed with which the system processed badges, resulting in very short wait times for all participants.
The Trade Show News Network reports that last week’s OFFPrice Show, held in Las Vegas, was the largest in the event’s 17-year history!
Registration Headquarters (RHQ) has supplied custom registration services to OFFPrice for over ten years, including management of the event’s master database. Additionally, the housing division site of Registration Headquarters – RHQ Housing – is integrated into the event’s registration function to provide all participants with an easy and seamless method by which to reserve their rooms at the cheapest rates.
RHQ has been retained to provide registration services for the National District Export Council’s Conference & Exposition, Las Vegas, November 2-5, 2011.
DEC’s focus is too bring together exporters of US-made products with foreign buyers and is supported by the Government’s Commercial Services Division. RHQ was selected as the registration supplier due to the easy adoption of its propriety iReg program for pre-registration services, and its location in Las Vegas which makes our full-service on-site support a more cost-effective option for show management.
After several months of negotiations, Grainger, a leading distributor of industrial supplies with almost $7 billion a year in sales, has selected Regsistration Headquarters (RHQ) to provide on-line pre-registration services for its Partners in Performance Conference, in 2012 and 2013.
RHQ was selected over other online pre-registration suppliers because of the flexibility in its approach to supplying customized registration services, and not the standard templates and reports which are becoming increasingly common with other registration suppliers.
iReg, a software solution for small events that do not require a full-service registration solution, has launched a new version with even more functionality.
The new iReg now supports: up to 35 different registration types; can ask 36 demographic questions; supports 24 different sessions. Another new feature is the additional payment processing option which now offers authorize.net as well as PayPal. Earlier this year, RHQ announced a new badge printing function allowing planners to print badges on-site.
Mike Rozek has been promoted to the new position of Director of Technology, announced Mark Naylor today. Rozek joined RHQ in September 2002 and has been a key influencer and developer of all RHQs registration, housing and iReg programs.
